A day at the beach stimulates the senses: the warm heat of the sun on your skin, the familiar grit of sand between your toes, the unmistakable sound of seagulls screaming over the constant rumble of crashing waves. And for England’s beach-goers, add to that, the heart-pumping adrenaline rush experienced at the sight of a boat of migrants coming ashore to invade your country.
Watch as a boatload of illegals disembark and brazenly walk past shocked U.K. citizens:
Footage shows them fleeing a boat, which landed at Oldstairs Bay, Kingsdown, Kent. They cross over the sand where they proceed to run “all over the place in every direction”.
One woman who spoke with The Sun said,
“It was unbelievable. They managed to get on land and then just ran all over the place in every direction. They looked like they’d won the lottery. They were very pleased.” She continued saying, “Some went down a footpath, others into the town in different directions, a group went up a hill and another towards the opposite end of town.”
“One minute I was relaxing and sunbathing and then the boat arrived. It was huge,” she told them. “It only took them a few seconds and they were gone. I’ve never seen anything like it before in my life.” she said, adding “I only came down here for a bit of sun. It’s a lovely little spot, I was just topping up my tan and then this happened. It was a real shock.”
The woman said people began filming and the police arrived within 5 minutes, but by that time it was too late and the illegals were gone.
Monday’s record-breaking number of 430 illegal arrivals comes during a year where boat crossings to the U.K. have dramatically increased.
The Sun reports that in recent weeks, the migrants have been arriving in the U.K. in bigger boats, and Monday’s staggering figures take the number to have arrived this year already to 8,159 – compared to the record yearly figure of 8,410 in 2020, and it’s only July.
