The man who shot three people in a Times Square shooting over the weekend has finally been caught. According to ABC 7 NY, the suspect was arrested at a McDonald’s in Florida by U.S. Marshals and the New York-New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force members. It is suspected that he had been staying in Florida with a girlfriend. Authorities are interviewing the girlfriend, but it is not known if she will be charged.
Farrakhan Muhammad, 31, allegedly was trying to shoot his brother in the Times Square area, but he wounded two women and a 4-year-old girl who are now out of the hospital and making strong recoveries.
Muhammad is known to the police and has been arrested numerous times over the years. His criminal history includes being arrested for aggravated harassment, assault, robbery, grand larceny and fraud.
